Join us for a free, educational winter hike and learn about the ecology and animal adaptations of this mountain environment.
- Family-friendly and suitable for most physical abilities.
- Strollers not recommended because of variable terrain and stairs.
- Please come prepared to spend an hour outside in variable winter weather. Sun protection and sturdy winter shoes are required.

- The winter nature is about 1/3 mile of walking or snowshoeing over the course of 1 hour, with periods of standing at several stops. The dirt trail is mostly flat but has some small hills. Snow and ice may be encountered on the trail. If snow depths allow, snowshoes may be used for the duration of the program. Snowshoes and trekking poles are provided.
